Info about the Poltava Oblast Camp Hadiach and Lubny

Partnership funds are being requested to host a Future Leaders of Urkraine Camp. The camp will serve as a type of retreat which will submerge students in an environment which includes sessions on democracy and civics, American culture, and other fun leisure activities. While the focus of the seven day camp is how to be an active citizen in a developing democracy, sessions will also be held on sexual health, gender, drug prevention, and comunity service. The camp will accept an estimated 60 students. Upon the completion of the camp, a booklet outlining the goals of the project and information which can be used to replicate the project will be published.
